Vishwanath Datta (1835 — 25 February 1884) was a Bengali lawyer, philanthropist and novelist. He was the father of Swami Vivekananda, Mahendranath Dutta and Bhupendranath Dutta.
Vishwa Nath Datta (25 May 1926 – 30 November 2020) was a distinguished Indian writer, historian and professor emeritus at Kurukshetra University.
Bhupendranath Datta (4 September 1880 – 25 December 1961) was an Indian communist revolutionary and later a noted sociologist and anthropologist. He was younger brother of Swami Vivekananda , and he was also associated Rishi Aurobindo in his political works.

Shyamasundari was an educated woman. She wrote a Bengali poetical work “Gangabhakti Tarangaini” (Bengali: গঙ্গাভক্তি তরঙ্গিনী).
