It concerns Arthur Lewis and Patrick Slattery, two drinking companions self-exiled from society, and their various misadventures through Spain as they both engage in bragging and self destructive behavior.
Pub Date: April 23rd, 1969. Despite the fact that anybody who has ever had to deal with drunken conversation knows it to be repetitive and almost always unrewarding, the author has created as persuasively interesting a pair of drunks as ever staggered across a printed page.
