About Them Shoes is an album by the American musician Hubert Sumlin, released in 2005. [1] [2] It was delayed for four years due to litigation. [3] According to Sumlin, the album title was inspired by something Levon Helm said in the studio; on other occasions, he attributed the saying to his father. [4] [5]
25 de ene. de 2005 · In April, 2000, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, an unabashed fan and admirer of Sumlin, went to work with him on an album which turned out to be About Them Shoes.

"Little Girl" features a charming interplay between Keith Richards and Sumlin's guitars, while Paul Nowinski adds a full-bottom bass to round things out. It's Sumlin's only vocal contribution to the disc, and that voice swims in Fraboni's mix of upfront guitars.
