  2. On 3 July 1963, with the Beatles in the studio, the English Merseybeat band the Fourmost recorded "Hello Little Girl" at EMI Studios. The song was released as their debut single. On 17 July 1963, Gerry and the Pacemakers recorded a version of the song, but the version by the Fourmost was selected for the issue.
