  1. 620 W. Surf is the debut album by the American musician Michael McDermott, released in 1991. The album is named after McDermott's former address in Chicago. "A Wall I Must Climb" peaked at No. 34 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. McDermott supported the album with a North American tour that included shows with the BoDeans.

  2. We recorded this album with Don Gehman (John Mellencamp, Hootie and the Blowfish) and Brian Koppelman in Los Angeles. I was a poofy haired kid who really hadn't a clue about how records were made. We recorded part of it at Captain and Tennille's studio and some at Dave Stewart's ( Eurythmics) house. Bruce Hornsby played some keys on it.

  3. 620 W. Surf (Giant Records/Reprise Records, 1991) – recorded in Los Angeles; it was produced by Don Gehman and Brian Koppelman. Bruce Hornsby was a guest player. Seattle Record (unreleased) – produced by Rich Parashar in Seattle for Giant Records.
