Elizabeth Savage, Countess Rivers and Viscountess Savage (1581 – 9 March 1651) was an English courtier and a Royalist victim of uprisings during the English Civil War.
Elizabeth Savage Countess Rivers. Elizabeth Darcy was born in 1581 and was the second child of 3rd Baron Darcy of Chiche later Earl Rivers. Elizabeth married Viscount Savage of Rocksavage. It was a productive marriage producing 19 children over a 28 year period.

Dorothy (c.1611-91) and Elizabeth (1612-65 or later) were the second and third of six daughters born to Thomas, Viscount Savage (c. 1586- 1635), and Elizabeth Darcy, Countess Rivers (c. 1 584-1651). Savage served as chancellor and counsellor to Queen Henrietta Maria, to whom his wife was, from 1626, lady-in-waiting. The couple also had seven sons.
It depicts two of the six daughters of Thomas, 1st Viscount Savage (1586–1635) and his wife Elizabeth Darcy, suo jure Countess Rivers (1581–1650). There is some debate as to the identification of the sisters, as well as the date of the original painting.
