Juliana de Hesse-Darmstadt (Darmstadt, 14 de abril de 1606-Osterode am Harz, 15 de enero de 1659) fue la esposa del conde Ulrico II de Frisia Oriental, y regente en nombre de su hijo menor de edad, Enno Luis, entre 1648 y 1651.

Her parents were Landgrave Louis V of Hesse-Darmstadt and Magdalene of Brandenburg, daughter of Elector John George von Brandenburg.

A splendid calligraphic manuscript on vellum and paper created for the 28-year-old Juliana of Hesse-Darmstadt (1606-59), countess of East Frisia, later in the collection of Victoria, Princess Royal, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria and Albert of Saxe-Coburg.
He was the youngest son of Count Ulrich II of East Frisia and Landgravine Juliana of Hesse-Darmstadt. From the age of 14, he attended the academies of Breda and Tübingen. As part of his training, he undertook extensive travels to France, Switzerland, Italy and England.
