The Mayor of Zalamea (German: Der Richter von Zalamea) is a 1920 German silent drama film directed by Ludwig Berger and starring Lil Dagover, Albert Steinrück and Agnes Straub. The film was based on Pedro Calderón de la Barca's historic Spanish play of the same name.
The play has been turned into several films including a 1920 German silent version The Mayor of Zalamea, and a 1954 Spanish sound film The Mayor of Zalamea. An East German version, The Mayor of Zalamea , was released in 1956.
