Conyngham, Henry. Conyngham, Henry (1766–1832), 1st Marquess Conyngham , landlord and courtier, was born 26 December 1766, the elder twin son of Francis Pierpoint Burton (qv), 2nd Baron Conyngham, and his wife Elizabeth, daughter of Nathaniel Clements (qv).

He was known for his parliamentary independence, although Clements may have had some influence over him. He spent much of his time in England and died 22 May 1787 at the Hot Wells, Bristol. He was succeeded by his son, Henry Conyngham (1766–1832), who became 1st Marquess Conyngham (1816).
