16 de nov. de 2018 · Bamba Müller was born on 6 July 1848 as the daughter of Ludwig Müller and his mistress Sofia in Cairo. She was educated in Cairo by missionaries. In 1864, Duleep Singh, the last ruler of the Sikh empire before being dethroned by the British, was passing through Cairo and he visited the missionaries there.

11 de dic. de 2022 · Maharani Bamba Duleep Singh (née Müller) was the illegitimate daughter of a German banker and his Abyssinian mistress who was a Coptic Christian slave. She was brought up and educated by Christian missionaries in Cairo, later becoming a teacher.
In 1864, Duleep Singh married Bamba Müller in Cairo and established his family home at Elveden Hall in Suffolk. He eventually became disaffected and embittered with the British, and he reverted to Sikhism. While in exile, he sought to learn more about Sikhism and was eager to return to India.
