North Foreland Lodge was a private boarding school for girls in England, originally established at North Foreland in Kent. Displaced from there by the Second World War, in 1947 it settled at Sherfield Manor in Sherfield on Loddon, Hampshire, until its closure in 2003 shortly after being acquired by another school, Gordonstoun .

The site currently known as Sherfield School has been previously known as North Foreland Lodge School, Sherfield Manor, Buckfield House and Archer Lodge. It is situated on the A33, approximately four miles north of Basingstoke and twelve miles south of Reading.

The seat of Captain Isacke, of the Honourable East India Company's service, is situated north of Stone House, and near the North Foreland, the eastern most point of Kent. It possesses great beauty of situation. The grounds are well laid out, and planted with a rich variety of shrubs.
Following Conant’s death a new owner created a walled garden in this corner of the estate, close to two picturesque lakes (HRO:10M57/SP626, OS 1873 and OS 1896). This owner, J. B. Stane removed Archer Lodge, built a new mansion – Buckfield House, and enlarged the walled garden.
