Anti-House is the eponymous debut album by German jazz saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock's band with guitarist Mary Halvorson, bassist John Hébert, drummer Tom Rainey and pianist Kris Davis, credited as a guest on about half the pieces. It was recorded in 2010 and released on the Swiss Intakt label.

Anti-House represents her first album as leader in the US. The range of approaches, textures, densities, and movement heard across the album, and, indeed, within each single piece, is one of the most satisfying qualities of Laubrock’s music.
1 de oct. de 2010 · Her music has grown exponentially in the intervening years, but there are passages on saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock 's Anti-House which resonate strongly with her 2004 album, Forensic (F-IRE), the disc which announced her emergence as a soloist and bandleader of propitious substance and originality.

Ingrid Laubrock nació en un pequeño pueblo de Münsterland (Alemania), pero aquella inquieta adolescente se mudó a Berlín, y poco después a Londres. Con 19 años tocaba en la calle y en el metro londinense. Recibió clases de Dave Liebman, y después de estar viviendo allí casi veinte años decidió trasladarse a Nueva York.
