Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, commonly known as Barts or BL, is a medical and dental school in London, England. The school is part of Queen Mary University of London, a constituent college of the federal University of London, and the United Hospitals.

Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry is located in Whitechapel (central London) and is one of the multiple prestigious London medical schools. Barts is currently ranked as the 16th best medical school in the UK and the 55th best in the world.
Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry brings together two venerable teaching institutions: St Bartholomew’s Hospital, which dates back to 1123, and The London Hospital Medical College, founded in 1785 - the oldest medical school in England and Wales.

In 1995, the Medical College of Saint Bartholomew's Hospital merged with Queen Mary and Westfield College and The London Hospital Medical College, and became the combined School of Medicine and Dentistry of Queen Mary. Since this date, the Barts and the London Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has formed part of Queen Mary University of London.
