The Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (Polish: Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Jana Matejki w Krakowie, usually abbreviated to ASP), is a public institution of higher education located in the centre of Kraków, Poland. It is the oldest Polish fine art academy, established in 1818 and granted full autonomy in 1873.

The Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków was founded in 1818. It is Poland's oldest art school. It was established by two Kraków painters: Józef Brodowski and Józef Peszka. At its inception it was not an independent institution. It formed part of the Literature Unit at Jagiellonian University's Faculty of Philosophy up to 1926.

The Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków is the oldest artistic university in Poland. It was founded in 1818 and existed at the start as School of Drawing and Painting within the Department of Literature of Jagiellonian University (founded in 1364).
