The Toy Collector surpasses "T & J" in scope. Gunn names his protagonist, a toy-obsessed prescription-drug pusher, after himself, which is a gutsy move, as James Gunn the character is quite often difficult to like. He's violent and selfish, but he knows it, and even feels guilty about it.
