  6. David Kemper (born David Law Kemper in Chicago, Illinois 1947/8) is an American rock drummer. He was a long-time member of both the Jerry Garcia Band (1983–1994) and Bob Dylan's band (1996–2001). He was with the Jerry Garcia Band for the last eleven years of Garcia's life.
