Blues on Broadway is an album by the American musician Ruth Brown, released in 1989 through Fantasy Records. The album earned Brown a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Performance, Female. It was produced by Ralph Jungheim. Hank Crawford played saxophone on several tracks.
Blues on Broadway finds Brown reprising several of the show’s songs, along with related material, in the empathetic company of a swinging band that features the searing saxophones of Hank Crawford and Red Holloway.

James Wesley " Red " Holloway (May 31, 1927 – February 25, 2012) [1] was an American jazz saxophonist. Biography. Born in Helena, Arkansas, [2] Holloway started playing banjo and harmonica, switching to tenor saxophone when he was 12 years old.
