One day, after a heavy rain storm, Mike sees a rainbow like he's never seen one before. He goes to investigate with Steve and his friends Tissy and Pete. The foursome discover a burnt crater where the rainbow came down. After an experiment with the destroyed earth, the ground takes on a bright color that quickly disappears.
