Wayne Wang (En chino: 王穎); (12 de enero de 1949, Hong Kong) es un director de cine estadounidense de origen chino premiado por festivales tan importantes como el de Cannes y el de San Sebastián y conocido principalmente por películas como Smoke (1995) y Anywhere But Here (En cualquier lugar excepto aquí) (1999).

Considered a pioneer of Asian-American cinema, he was one of the first Chinese-American filmmakers to gain a major foothold in Hollywood.

He's had big box office successes like " The Joy Luck Club ," "Maid in Manhattan" and " Last Holiday ," and hasn't made a film primarily about Chinese characters since "Chinese Box" (1997).
