Born at the Royal Palace in the Kingdom of Naples, Prince Gennaro Carlo Francesco was a member of the Capetian dynasty of the House of Bourbon and a Prince of Naples and Sicily by birth. He died at the age of eight of smallpox at Caserta Palace.
