Anne Shelton OBE (born Patricia Jacqueline Sibley, 10 November 1923 – 31 July 1994) was a popular English vocalist, who is remembered for providing inspirational songs for soldiers both on radio broadcasts, and in person, at British military bases during the Second World War.
11 de mar. de 2017 · Decca signed Farnon as a ‘house conductor and arranger’, and his name appeared on numerous 78s providing backings for the likes of Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, Denny Dennis, Paul Carpenter, Beryl Davis, Reggie Goff, Dick James, The Johnston Brothers, Scotty McHarg, Donald Peers, Ronnie Ronalde, Norman Wisdom, Anne Shelton .. and even the Ilford Girls Choir.

Shelton’s 2015 photobook, A Spoonful of Sugar, explores the forces of banking, gender politics, ghosts and architecture. Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki hosted Shelton’s mid-career review exhibition Dark Matter: Ann Shelton , (2016) and toured the exhibition to Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū (2017).
