William Paulet, 3rd Marquess of Winchester KB JP (c. 1532 – 24 November 1598) was an English nobleman, the son of John Paulet, 2nd Marquess of Winchester and his first wife, Elizabeth Willoughby. His maternal grandfather was Robert Willoughby, 2nd Baron Willoughby de Broke.
Marquess of Winchester is a title in the Peerage of England that was created in 1551 for the prominent statesman William Paulet, 1st Earl of Wiltshire. It is the oldest of six surviving English marquessates; therefore its holder is considered the premier marquess of England.

In 1576 William Paulet succeeded his father as third Marquess of Winchester, and Paulet lived until 1598. The second Marquess generously provided for his third wife, Winifred, including property and title of Marchioness. Paulet's son unsuccessfully sued to decrease her benefits.
