Simon Huw Jones or Simon Jones (born 1 June 1960) is an English vocalist, lyricist and photographer, best known as the singer with the band And Also the Trees.

And Also the Trees formed in 1979 in Inkberrow, a large village in Worcestershire, with a lineup featuring two sets of brothers: Simon Huw Jones (vocals), Justin Jones (guitar), Graham Havas (bass) and Nick Havas (drums).
Simon Huw Jones is a vocalist, lyric writer and photographer. He was born in Birmingham, England in 1960 but grew up in rural Worcestershire where, in 1979, he formed the alternative rock band And Also The Trees with his guitarist brother Justin Jones.
To mark the 40th anniversary of ‘And also the trees’ we asked singer Simon Huw Jones to write some words and show some pictures about the bands early years.
