Pete Comita is shown on the reverse of a novelty $1 Million bank note that was created in 2022. Was it tough making the transition from guitar to 12-string bass? At first it was very difficult because my hands weren't strong enough yet.

Brant was a founding member of the Chicago band D'Thumbs with Tommy Aldridge and Pete Comita and has also played with Chris Spedding, Robert Gordon, Lou Reed, Diana Ross, Lesley Gore, Jason & the Scorchers, Micki Free, and others. Pete Comita. Pete Comita briefly played bass for Cheap Trick after Tom Petersson’s departure in 1980. Although his tenure with the band was short, he contributed to the recording of several tracks, some of which appeared on the album “One on One” (1982).
