A really great set – with a feel that's better than most other work from the time by the players! JJ and Nat team up for a Japanese concert – with help from Billy Childs on keyboards, Tony Dumas on bass, and Kevin Johnson on drums.

Yet he has always maintained his Philadelphia roots, and is and has been a regular at Ortlieb's Jazzhaus in that city for many years.
