The State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe or Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe is an academy of arts in Karlsruhe, in Baden-Württemberg in south-western Germany.
Die Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe ist mit rund 344 Studenten (Sommersemester 2023) [1] eine der kleineren deutschen Hochschulen für Bildende Kunst. Sie untersteht dem Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst des Landes Baden-Württemberg.
Known under its final name, the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe (Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe), since 1961, it is now home to around 300 students, who are not only enrolled in the “Fine Arts” degree programme, but are also taught together with students following a teacher training course in Art Teaching.
