The Yellow Payges is an American rock band, led by singer Dan Hortter, that was formed in Los Angeles in 1966. Although their commercial success was limited, they toured widely and recorded ten singles and an LP before splitting up in 1970.
They were soon playing ~the Hullabaloo on a steady basis, with Bookasta signing on as manager -- in 1966, Knox, Tyre, and Ratzloff exited, with guitarists Bob Norsoph and Randy Carlisle, and bassist Mike Rummans signing on in their stead.
Bob Norsoph had replaced John Knox on lead guitar and Mike Rummans (from The Sloths) had replaced Herby Ratzloff on bass in 1966. Rummans would later switch to lead guitar and replace Norsoph, with Jim Lanham taking over the bass slot. Randy Carlisle then replaced Larry Tyre on rhythm guitar.

The band was renamed "Sky Saxon and the Seeds" in 1968, by which point Bob Norsoph (guitar) and Don Boomer (drums) had replaced Savage and Andridge, respectively. Saxon continued to use the name "The Seeds", utilizing various backup musicians, at least through 1972.
