Dr. Blumenthal is particularly known for her pioneering leadership in exposing the inequities in women’s health and developing innovative initiatives to advance women’s health and the study of sex differences in disease, moving these issues to the forefront of our nation’s health care agenda.
Dr. Blumenthal currently serves as public health editor of The Huffington Post, as senior policy and medical ddvisor at amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research and is the director of an initiative on strengthening nutrition in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to reduce food insecurity and obesity in America.
