  4. After the death of her 2nd husband, she was created 1st Countess of Chesterfield [England] on 29 May 1660, suo jure, for life in recognition of both her service and friendship to Mary. After Mary's death, she served Anne, Duchess of York and Queen Catherine of Braganza, until her death in 1667.
