Dwight Twilley Band, James Newton-Howard, Tom Saviano. Twilley Don’t Mind is the second album from the Dwight Twilley Band, recorded and released in 1977 on Shelter Records, distributed at the time by Arista Records.
24 de mar. de 2020 · This comparative trifle of a number is nicely forgotten by the almost grandiose “Sleeping”, which isn’t just the longest track, but even sports a string arrangement by James Newton Howard, who’d been busy the previous couple of years with Elton John.
Tras la marcha de Seymour en pos de una carrera por su cuenta –truncada en 1993 a causa de un linfoma-, Twilley jamás pudo igualar esa doble apuesta, hasta el punto de que ambos han gozado de tres reediciones (1990, 1997, 2007).
20 de oct. de 2023 · Their second album, Twilley Don’t Mind, was released a year later but again didn’t prove to be a breakthrough despite the songs being of uniformly high quality. Seymour left the band in 1978, later scoring a solo hit with “Precious to Me” before his life was cut short by lymphoma in 1993.
