Lofgren is credited on two of Lou Gramm's (of Foreigner) solo albums: Ready or Not released in 1987 (Lofgren listed as lead guitarist) and Long Hard Look released in 1989 (Lofgren listed as one of the guitarists). In 1987, he contributed the television show theme arrangement for Hunter.

Overall, the album did make quite the fuss – a top30 chart position in the USA, a #1 hit single (“Midnight Blue”) , dozens of concerts and happy faces, etc. etc…

6 Reviews. roquecolor Apr 02 2023. "Ready or Not" was the debut solo album by Lou Gramm (the great vocalist ex Black Sheep and Foreigner and pre Shadow King). His voice is lovely warm and nervous, easily one of the best vocalist in AOR. A solid US AOR/pop rock, with an hi-tech-oriented sound and an accurate commercial approach.
