Jesus College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college's full name is The College of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint John the Evangelist and the glorious Virgin Saint Radegund, near Cambridge .
Jesus College is on a single large site on a quiet side street in the centre of Cambridge. It was established between 1496 and 1516 on the site of the twelfth-century Benedictine nunnery of St Mary and St Radegund whose buildings , which included a huge church, were adapted to house it.
Located in the heart of Oxford, just a few minutes’ walk from the University’s libraries, science campus and humanities buildings, Jesus College combines the highest standards of academic excellence in teaching and research with a vibrant, inclusive and supportive community.

Jesus College has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the larger Colleges in Cambridge.
