  2. The American Repertory Theater ( A.R.T.) is a professional not-for-profit theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1979 by Robert Brustein, the A.R.T. is known for its commitment to new American plays and music–theater explorations; to neglected works of the past; and to established classical texts reinterpreted in refreshing new ways. [1] .

  3. The American Repertory Ballet (ARB) is an American ballet company based in New Jersey. The company was founded by Audrée Estey in 1963, as the Princeton Regional Ballet Company. In 1978, it became a professional company and was renamed Princeton Ballet Company. It was named American Repertory Ballet in 1990.
