Sultan Husayn Bayqara Mirza (Persian: سلطان حسین بایقرا Husayn Bāyqarā; June/July 1438 – 4 May 1506) was the Timurid ruler of Herat from 1469 until May 4, 1506, with a brief interruption in 1470.

18 de may. de 2014 · One of the best loved of the illustrated Persian manuscripts in the British Library is the Khamsah of Nizami Or. 6810. Made in Herat during the reign of Sultan Husayn Bayqara, and with one picture dated 900/1494-95, it contains some of the finest late 15th-century painting.
This paper makes available images, transcriptions, and translations of two original decrees by Sultan-Husayn Bayqara (r. 873–911/1469–1506), the last Timurid monarch at Herat. Original Timurid chancery documents are exceedingly rare.
