Jossy's Giants was a children's footballing comedy drama that ran on BBC1 between 1986 and 1987. The show's plot centred on a boys' football team, the Glipton Giants, and their enthusiastic Geordie manager Joswell 'Jossy' Blair.
Ross storms out of a team meeting when Jossy announces he'll only be a substitute for an upcoming 5-a-side tournament. The manager of a rival team capitalises on his anger by poaching him - and his father's money. The Giants are left struggling to raise the funds to enter the tournament.
