Ian Sharp (born 13 November 1946, Clitheroe, Lancashire) is an English film and television director. He is best known for directing the SAS action thriller Who Dares Wins (1982) and directing the action sequences of the James Bond film Goldeneye (1995).
Sharp’s most recent contribution to the Big Screen was with Ray Winstone directing ‘Tracker’. Between movies he has continued to make commercials and short films all over the world. Ian is married to broadcaster and author Sue Cook and lives in Oxfordshire.

Ian Sharp was born on 13 November 1946 in Clitheroe, Lancashire, England, UK. He is a director and assistant director, known for GoldenEye (1995), Mrs Caldicot's Cabbage War (2002) and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). He has been married to Sue Cook since 27 August 2004. They have two children.
