James Whale (Dudley Staffs, 22 de julio de 1889 - Los Ángeles, 29 de mayo de 1957) [1] fue un director de cine inglés. Iniciado en el teatro en 1930 se mudó a los Estados Unidos, [2] donde destacó en el cine de terror. [3]
James Whale (22 July 1889 – 29 May 1957) was an English film director, theatre director and actor, who spent the greater part of his career in Hollywood. He is best remembered for several horror films: Frankenstein (1931), The Old Dark House (1932), The Invisible Man (1933) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935), all considered classics.
Michael James Whale MBE (born 13 May 1951) is a British radio personality, television presenter, podcast host and author. He gained initial prominence in the 1980s as the host of The James Whale Radio Show on Radio Aire in Leeds, which was simulcast on national television.
