  1. Charles Golding Constable (1821–1878) was a member of the British East India Company 's navy, joining up in his youth. He was the second son of the painter John Constable and, on his elder brother John Charles's death in 1841, became head of the Constable family.

  6. 19 de nov. de 2023 · Charles-Golding (Charley) was the only child to marry and have children. When his father died, Charley argued with his sisters because they had kept some of his father’s seascapes which he felt were meant for him. He also denounced a number of genuine Constables as fakes.
