Cheap trick’s Interim 12-string bassist. After Tom Petersson left Cheap Trick in 1980 he was replaced on 12-string bass by Pete Comita. Comita toured with Cheap Trick for just over a year. We tracked Pete down and had a chance to chat with him. Thanks Pete! Who is Pete Comita?

Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos. [a] [4] The current lineup of the band consists of Zander, Nielsen and Petersson.
With Cheap Trick. After original Cheap Trick bassist Tom Petersson left the group in 1980, he was initially replaced by Pete Comita. Comita left the group early in the recording sessions for the album One on One and was replaced by Brant, who moved to the band's hometown of Rockford, Illinois.

Pete Comita. Pete Comita briefly played bass for Cheap Trick after Tom Petersson’s departure in 1980. Although his tenure with the band was short, he contributed to the recording of several tracks, some of which appeared on the album “One on One” (1982).
