Outlaws is an American science fiction Western television series which aired Saturday nights on CBS from December 28, 1986 until May 30, 1987. The original series began as a 2-hour pilot movie, and was followed by eleven one-hour episodes.
Outlaws: Created by Nicholas Corea. With Rod Taylor, William Lucking, Charles Napier, Patrick Houser. Five cowboys are sent forward in time from 1899 to 1986, where they start their own detective agency.

Outlaws is a short-lived action-adventure American television series which aired Saturday nights on CBS. Five cowboys are sent forward through time from 1886 to 1986, and fight crime. The original series began as a 2-hour pilot movie, and was followed by eleven one-hour episodes.
Outlaws: Directed by Peter Werner. With Rod Taylor, William Lucking, Charles Napier, Patrick Houser. Five time-tossed 1890's cowboys find themselves in the 1980's and start a detective agency.

After cornering the gang in a stormy Native American graveyard, a bolt of lightning struck all five men - transporting them 87 years forward in time to 1986. With no way to return to their original time, the five men agreed to a truce and started a private investigation/detective agency to pay their bills.
In the series premiere the members of the Pike gang are on the run from a posse lead by former member John Grail in 1886. During a showdown during a lightning storm in an Indian graveyard they are transported forward 100 years and are quickly introduced to the modern world.
