George Howard, 4th Earl of Suffolk (c. 17 July 1625 – 21 April 1691) was an English peer. He was a son of Theophilus Howard, 2nd Earl of Suffolk, and was styled Hon. George Howard from 1640 to 1688/9. He was commissioned a captain in the Dutch States Army in 1646.
His wife Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, was a mistress of King George II. On Lord Suffolk's death, the titles passed to his son, the tenth Earl. He represented Bere Alston in the House of Commons. He was childless and on his death, the line of the eldest son of the first Earl failed.

George Howard emerged as the heir to the earldom of Suffolk after the death of his older brother Thomas Howard, which occurred sometime between July 1685 and January 1689. Given the turmoil of the times it is perhaps not surprising that he took his seat at almost the first available opportunity: the second day of the Convention.
