Josef von Stroheim was born on 18 September 1922 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is known for The Getaway (1972), Three Days of the Condor (1975) and Jeremiah Johnson (1972). He was married to Harriet Simon and Phyllis Helen Fifield. He died on 22 March 2002 in Van Nuys, California, USA.
