Nicholas Nickleby es una película cómica-dramática estadounidense-británica de 2002 escrita y dirigida por Douglas McGrath. El guion se basa en The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby por Charles Dickens, que fue publicado por entregas entre marzo de 1838 y septiembre de 1839.
El libro sigue las aventuras y desventuras de Nicholas Nickleby, quien, junto a su hermana Kate y su madre, ven cómo el padre de la familia fallece repentinamente y eso les obliga a pedir ayuda al tío Ralph Nickleby, un prestamista mezquino y de muy mal corazón.
