  1. Herbert Hal Reynolds (March 20, 1930 – May 25, 2007) was an American academic administrator who worked as the president of Baylor University from 1981 to 1995.

Over the six years from 1946 to 1952 Dr. Reynolds earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University and completed four years active duty in the United States Air Force. After service as a member of a technical advisory group to the Japanese Air Self Defense Force, he came to Baylor in 1956.
