Arcadie Meyer, Baroness of Eppinghoven, born Marie-Anne Arcadie Eugénie Claret [1] (30 May 1826 [1] – 13 January 1897 [1] ), was a Belgian noblewoman and the mistress of Leopold I, King of the Belgians for more than twenty years, [2] causing a national scandal.

Marie Anne Arcadie Eugénie Claret was born in Brussels on May 30, 1826, one of thirteen children of Major Charles-Joseph Claret and Henriette Neetesonne.
Marie Anne Arcadie Eugénie Claret est la fille du major Charles-Joseph Claret (1789-1867), trésorier de la Caisse des Pensions pour veuves et orphelins de l’Armée belge, qui termine sa carrière avec le grade de lieutenant-colonel et de la Gantoise Henriette Neetesonne (1795-1881) qui s'étaient mariés à Ixelles 2 en 1819.
