Frederick III of Brandenburg, nicknamed the Fat, also the Younger (born: c. 1424; died: 6 October 1463 in Tangermünde) was Margrave of Brandenburg and Lord of the Altmark.

The war with Poland continued into the 1620s, and after several campaigns in the Baltic States it was successfully concluded in 1629 by the Truce of Altmark, by which Sweden received Livonia and the right to the customs of key Baltic harbours.
Magdalena was the only child of Margrave Frederick III of Brandenburg-Altmark (1424–1463) from his marriage to Agnes (1436–1512), daughter of the Duke Barnim VIII of Pomerania. She married on 17 June 1482 in the Berlin City Palace to Count Eitel Friedrich II of Hohenzollern (1452–1512).
