He arranged to identify the corpse as Gilby, so that the industrialist could evade arrest. Later, Sven killed Gilby for the money in his possession. The others were killed because they discovered that Sven was the murderer. Sven tries to escape, but is buried alive during another avalanche.

Review by T GP ★★½. Two lawmen from the US tax department are sent to a ski lodge in Utah to shake a man called Gilbert Gilbey down for the $830,000 he owes. Upon arrival they are trapped with the nine other guests by a series of snow slides and then Gilbey turns up dead shot in the face, except it's not GG.
