Charles Newby (18 June 1941 – 22 May 2023) was a British musician who was briefly the bassist for the Beatles for several gigs in December 1960, while Stuart Sutcliffe was still in Hamburg focusing on his art career.

24 de may. de 2023 · Chas Newby, bajista que tocó con la agrupación británica The Beatles cuando era joven, murió este martes a la edad de 81 años. Hasta el momento se desconocen las causas. El músico también tocó con John Lennon en su primera banda, The Quarrymen.
