20 de mar. de 2003 · Perdido Bobby Hackett was admired by Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis for his unique improvisation and inventive chord progressions, which are found in abundance on this live club session. Hackett displays great harmonic command on the cornet, as well as a sense of humor.
Robert Leo Hackett (January 31, 1915 [1] – June 7, 1976) [2] was a versatile American jazz musician who played Swing music, Dixieland jazz and Mood music, now called Easy Listening, on trumpet, cornet, and guitar.
