Edwin Jobson (born 28 April 1955) is an English musician noted for his use of synthesizers. He has been a member of several progressive rock bands, including Curved Air , Roxy Music , U.K. and Jethro Tull .

Eddie Jobson biography. This dynamic rock violinist has played with everyone from UK, ROXY MUSIC, and Frank ZAPPA to JETHRO TULL. Jobson's recordings as a leader showed much promise in their use of keyboards, computer-generated sounds, and wailing electric-violin solos.

Los teclistas del rock: EDDIE JOBSON. The Sheepdogs – Live At Lee's (2022) El 18 de agosto de 2011, The Sheepgogs, aparecen en la portada de la prestigiosa revista musical Rolling Stone. Todo un éxito para esta banda nostálgica del sonido setentero. La banda procede de Saskatoon , Saskatchewan, provincia del oeste de Canadá.
Para ello cuentan con Eddie Jobson y con el guitarrista Allan Holdsworth (Soft Machine, Gong). Con esta formación editan su primer disco en 1978, una grabación cargada con temas progresivos con el toque dulzón de la voz de Wetton.
